aight, i did some research on 7th gens chassis codes...

EP1 - 3dr hatchback, 1.4L
EP2 - 3dr hatchback, 1.6L

EP3 - 3dr hatchback, 2.0L K20A (Type R)

EU7 - 5dr hatchback, 1.4L (90hp)
EU8 - 5dr hatchback, 1.6L (110h)

EM2 - 2dr coupe, 1.7L D17A

ES1 - 4dr sedan, 1.5L D15B (iE) lean burn vtec + pgm-fi
ES2 - 4dr sedan, 1.5L D15B, (L4/B4) 4wd sohc + pgm-fi
ES3 - 4dr sedan, 1.7L D17A (RS)
ES4 - 4dr sedan, (90hp)
ES5 - 4dr sedan, (110hp)

that's all i've been able to figure out in this little time... with some rather contradicting data... this is all info from european and japanese websites...
i just realized this wasn't the 7th gen forum, oh well...
