Hi - I rear-ended someone last night (at a very low speed), and there's no damage to my car except the hood won't close fully. There's about a 2.5 inch gap between the hood and the body of the car, - the latch locks, but there's still a gap. It looks like the hinges were bent back a little bit, causing the gap.
The hood is fine, so I'd imagine I just have to get new hinges. Can I easily/safely fix this myself? It looks like I'd just have to use a wrench to remove the old hinge(and possibly remove the wipers?) and then put the new hinges on.
Thanks!
