intake, full exhaust (header, no cat, cat-back), some ignition work, tune, lighter/smaller wheels, turbo...

swap it to a manual and get rid of your D series for something that starts out faster.

Doing a 5spd swap actually does help. Theoreticly its not any more HP, but you have more control over the RPMs, so you can choose when to shift and not to shift. But if your looking for serious power, ditch the D and go wither either a H22, B16/B18, or K20/K24. D series motors are good for one thing, and one thing only. Economy driving.

hey dont diss the D, ive seen 300+ hp D's.
but yeah if you want serious power with TORQUE go another series. otherwise jsut boost the D, turbo/sc is the D's drugs
