How-To: 5th Gen DC Sports Header Install (D-Series)

Jason, Mike, Josh and I decided to install Jason's DC Sports header into his 1995 civic ex. d16z6. so we thought it'd be a good idea to make a how to. Here Goes:

First, You want to remove all of the nuts off of the exhaust studs.

Next, remove the first and 2nd 02 sensors.

Next, unbolt the spring bolts underneith the car and any other bolts that you n eed to remove the stock exhaust manifold.

from there, all of the bolts should be removed and you can now drop down the stock exhaust manifold. take care when doing this.

now, you can put on your new exhaust header.

Next, bolt up the header underneith the car:

Everything bolted up:

Now All that you have left to do is put the screws of the exhaust studs back on:

Start up your car and check for leaks...!

hey, some people are more clueless than others...i'm just trying to help out.


the header bolts wherent all that bad. Oh, and about the lack of springs on the spring bolts..the kid that had the car before didnt do things right so we fixed that as well.

I guess good write up, but Detainedcivic has a point. Headers and intakes are pretty self explanitory, and those who cant do it, take thier stuff to shops. But good job though
