DIY/How-To: Sound Deaden your Ceiling/Roof (56k welcome)

Finally some warmer weather.. Opened up the garage and let some sunlight in.. and began working on my Sound Deadening..
The material is called "Blue Skins", some knock-off Dynomat stuff, seems to be doing the trick!

First, I cleaned the ceiling with a soapy-water solution and a rag, and allowed it to dry. I made sure to use a heat gun in places where water could still be drying.. to speed up the process.

I layed out the roll on the driveway so it could heat up a bit..
and I used a Heat Gun to heat up the sections of my ceiling/roof I was about to apply the material to.

I split up the sections of the ceiling in 5 parts.. and cut each part in half..
So I put 10 pieces of material on the ceiling altogether.
Beginning from the start, and moving to the back:
1) (2) 36" x 11"
2) (2) 36" x 9"
3) (2) 36" x 12"
4) (2) 36" x 7 1/2"
5) (2) 36" x 7"

I used my hands and fingers to mould the material to the roof, supporting it sometimes with the top of my head wearing a hat so my hair wouldn't stick to the tar..

Goodbye echo/vibrations!! :D
