DIY --> Here's where to run high gauge wires through firewall
My 0 gauge wire arrived from http://www.knukonceptz.com
I'm very pleased with it, comes in a nice yellow jacket, and its for sale on ebay right now @ $1.99 a foot. These guys had honest shipping rates as well.
Since there was already some 10 gauge wire stuffed in Firewall Plug #15 I decided to leave that alone and run my 0 gauge through Firewall Plug #16
(see picture below)
Firewall Plug #16 is located behind the battery. Just drill a hole in the plug & firewall matt, slightly smaller than the wire, and stuff it in there! (you can take the plug out for ease of drilling)
Removal of the glove box is very useful and can ease getting at the plug from the interior of the car.
