Ok i could care less if he attacked me but W.E this being someone's 1st post kinda shows their intentions on this site, to just start s**t. A trial would of discouraged anything like this.

Another idea... to go along with the trial membership stuff. Make a Noob/introduction forum to where they cannot post anywhere else until they introduce themselves like name, location(state would be enough) what car, interests, and a pic. Then a mod can bump there membership up if they feel like they have enough information posted.

No set date, or set post count.. just an intro then a mod or smod approval to gain more access.
