I've searched countlessly and cant find how to properly install the lip. I have a 97 civic coupe and I seen on some other forums that you have to take out some front bar, what bar are they talking about? Another thing I read was that I had to cut some of the tab off from the sides, is this true? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

cut s**t out for a lilp? is it a replica lip? got a pic? for most "mugen" lips it's just 2 bolts on each side that holds it to the bumper and optional screws on the front.
yea its a replica lip. It came with 4 screws.

there ya go. as you can see it wraps around and you just screw it to the bumper. and pictured is a 99-00 civic same instructions for your 96-98

yup put it on yesterday its a very tight fit but it looks very nice. but on the wheelwell area where you put the screws the tabs are a little long might have to shave em down a little bit. I mean it doesnt rub but on lowering my car today also so dont know if that will make a difference.
