losing coolant, but no leaks?

hmmmm.. so a blown headgasket huh? i have the same prob. i've tried and tried just as much as you have on figuring out wats wrong. im not mechanically inclined to do my own headgasket and i was quoted at over 800 at a few places. in labor and in parts. more if i wanted a head job.hope somebody finds this out. i hope my little honda makes it to 200k haa...

Replacing a head gasket isn't as difficult as it may seem. I'm sure we could walk you threw it.

I was losing coolant the same way you're talking about and I thought is was bhg, but it was just my radiator cap. Costs $10, just replace it anyway. If that doesn't fix it then rock on, you have a new one anyway and move on to the HG. =)

radiator cap and everything has been replaced - still losing coolant - car started spitting white smoke yesterday ... a very small amount - almost didnt even notice it ... so Im working on the headgasket as we speak - but I cant get the god damn head studs off
