Lowered springs: suggestions?

Those are probably junk. You get what you pay for.

Stick with reputable name brands such as Tein, H&R, Eibach etc etc. If new springs are too expensive, maybe look around locally on CL for someone selling a set. For springs, you can use anything from a 92-00 Civic, or a 94-01 integra. Also, lowering 2"+ on stock struts (assuming since you didnt mention) will take a toll on them, which would need to be addressed sooner or later.

Remember when you change out the springs, you WILL need an alignment afterwards unless you want to destroy your tires due to the toe being out of spec. In my area, alignments are about $80 out the door. Some companies will sell a lifetime alignment plan for ~$200 so you can keep going back whenever you replace/install something.

Spend the money on something reputable. Who knows what you are getting with those springs. IMO they are dangerous and should not be installed on anything...
