missfire sounds

i have a 93 civic with a d 16 non vtech and it has a rough idle untill it warms up then it stays at 1k and randomly go to like 1300 then back down but besides that it has a funny sound like its misfireing or skipping a beat the car runs great i can drive an hour away with no issues but has a missfire sound but i can feel it skipping a beat
the car does not bog buck or stall like i said runs great but annoying noise im going to check the ICV maybe thats it but if anyone has had the same issue and fixed it let me know

But seriously... Sounds like a timing issue.

Have u checked your spark plugs and the coil and cap and rotor lately?

thats what i was about to say check the spark plugs and the wires, then do the timing, like my grandpa always says check the small things first or the cheap things then work your way up to the expensive parts
