I have a 1995 Civic with a B16A1 swap in it now I bought the car like this. The problem is that the previous owner bought the wrong size piston for it and ran it like that for almost a month.
Now I want to buy forged pistons for the car but I have no idea what size the cylinder bore is and what size piston to buy...
The question: Can I buy Stock Darton Replacemnt Dry Sleeves have machine shop press it in and bore it too 81mm, buy forged piston and rods at 81mm and everything should work fine right? or am I wrong? Also how would this be done? does the machine shop press the dry liners into the current sleeves and bore it? or does the liner come at 81mm and only needs to be pressed it?
