Hello,
Im new here. My first post!
Im looking to refresh my suspension on My 99 civic. Not really interested in lowering or stiffness. I just want to remove
The sloppyness that comes with age.
Is there a complete kit?
Any ideas?
Greg

I put this hardrace bushings kit and they do what you are looking for: tightening things up really well!:

Bastok,
Thanks for the response.
That looks like what i'm looking for.
So all those Bushing will fit in the stock Honda Civic.
so i don't need to buy new control arms or anything like that?
my civic is an SI. btw i live in Canada.

They will fit right straight. Nothing else to change or buy apart.
They are the same as the oem, but with a little harder rubber, nothing stiff to worry about.

Remember, if i remember right, that the Canadian SI are the equivalent to the EX in U.S?
Easier: what engine code do your car have?

How can I figure out the engine code? I found this number on the engine by the top coolant hose in front on top. 811251441 .
I also found this number on the timing belt cover d16y8. Do these help?

You don't buy a suspension part based on engine codes, you do it based off of the chassis code or trim model of the vehicle.

Yes grega. I put the Hardrace kit and for now they are like new ( put them an year ago, so, they are young yet...but before buying them i did a lot of research and there were lots of good reviews )

Before buying the Hardrace kit, I had the energy bushings kit ready to be installed, but at last moment i prefered to go with hardrace because are the same style that oem bushings (rubber+metal shelf)
