Hey all!
I thought I'd gather some input before I start modding my 96 CXi 5 speed.
The car has been kept in great condition by the previous owner and was sitting at a lowly 100,000kms when I bought it at the start of 2016. It's only done about 15,000 since.
Mechanically, the car is sound. I had it serviced late 2016, and plan to have another extensive service done in the next month, before I start putting any sort of money into it.
This car is my daily drive, not looking to make it a track car or anything just yet.
I've got a rough list of what I'd like to do first, and it follows:
1. Suspension
2. Wheels / tyres
3. Brakes
(A new exhaust system wouldn't go astray either)
Not going for any improvements in power just yet as I'm considering an engine swap of some sort down the road, so I can wait for that.
Until then, I'm hoping for some tips in the right direction vis-a-vi #1, 2 & 3 (brands, suppliers, setups)
LOCATED IN SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (any leads in Sydney/Australia would be great!)
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
