I love MMA, you all love MMA. Lets discuss all of it in one thread. Talk bout fight nights, PPV's, whatever. This thread will pertain to ALL MMA organizations. So, I don't want to see some bullshit about why UFC is better than Strike Force or why UFC sucks ass. Lets talk about why certain fighters are sucking, why this fight sucked or why they should have this certain fight.

If it deals with MMA, lets talk about it. Even your local events, even the TUF show is welcomed. Even, I hate to say it, even Bully Beatdown is welcomed.

How do you feel about the beating Bones Jones put onto Shogun? I was upset, only cause I betted on Shogun, but I expected it to happen. And, how about the upcoming event with Pierre/Shields and Aldo/Hominick? I already know the Pierre/Shields fight will be a live gay porno movie.

But, Aldo/Hominick is about to be a good ass fight for sure. Aldo always puts it out in the cage.

This is one of the problems with Ufc. They are a great budiness but they don't really let the figters dictate their own fight schedules. Back in pride you would see the big guys fight every few months. This kept the fighters sharp and really allowed guys to operate at their peak. So to the point. Shogun just came off a major injury and hasn't fought in a year. Bones had a short turn around and was in amazing shape for this fight and it showed. I think the belt at 205 in going to bounce all over the place for a long while.

Nah, wasn't able to get the time off. Interested in the Noguiera, Garcia, and Hardy fight.

Exactly. Few fighters in UFC are living the life style. Especially champions. They'll fight one night and you might not see them for a few months maybe half a year or more, regardless if they injured or not. GSP is always training I'm sure Anderson is too. Other than that, who else(that is a champion)?

I personally feel that the UFC did this to Shogun. Jones has a huge following and it is always getting bigger. All Dana sees with Jones is $$$.

When guys get injured like that you need to treat them differently. If I was joe silva and dana white I would had striped shogun and had him work his way back up to the belt. Sure some might be able to come right in and compete but most can't. Rashad is coming off a huge layoff too and now he is fighting jones. Lots of people train when they are not fighting but training can never really simulate the trill of competition sadly.

I don't know about stripping the belt from them. They maybe should have did with Brock Lesnar's situation. That to me made more sense then having some guy cold as all hell come in and fight a guy who is completely hot. I have no hope for Rashad either. But like I said, Dana is gonna milk Jones for as much $$ as possible.

Don't get me wrong. Rashad can win. He plays wet blanket with the best of them.
