Oil leak..vtec solenoid gasket?

Hi,
I seen your old post on the oil leak under the vtech valve, I have the same problem. I have replace the distributor o-ring and internal seal, the vtech gasket and the head gasket trying to fix this leak with no results. It only leaks some times, like when the engine is cold. I have looked with a mirror and cannot catch it leaking; I have tried revving the engine but no luck so far. Could the vtech still be leaking after changing the gasket?

Did you change both vtec gaskets? Did you use Honda parts or OEM?

You could just replace the whole vtec solenoid... get one from a junk yard or Honda.

So your talking about the v-tec solenoid right under the distributer right? I saw another solenoid back by my throttlebody. is that also a v-tec solenoid? Mine is leaking oil too i just wanted to make sure that i got the right seal for the right solenoid. thanks guys!
