My Matco guy is retiring from the tool business next month, and is trying to unload his stock cheap... offered me a once in a lifetime deal on a new toolbox I couldn't refuse... so spent my car mods money on it.

After 10 years, I've had tools piled on top of tools in my little snap-on box. It's going to my garage now.

Nice! It doesn't look that much larger. Is it?

My old one is an older Snap-On Heritage series box... 40x19x39... approximately 15,000cu.in
New one is Matco 5s.... 56x25x44... approximately 26,000cu.in.

I put everything from the old box and from my craftsman box in it, all spread out and neat, and I still have 3 totally empty drawers and one half empty drawer.... the big drawers.

So almost double the size. Couldn't tell from the pics.
I was hoping leaving the craftsman box on top for the picture would give some sense of scale... but yeah, it's pretty massive. I'm not a tool addict, or tool junkie, so it's the last box I'll ever need to buy.
