I have a 01 LX Civic Coupe with 5spd. I had the surging rpms about 6months ago, then a check engine light. It was the P0122 (Throttle Pos. Sen. Low Voltage of something like that) So I did the Omni TSP sensor replacement (brand new) and set it to the .5volts idle and checked WOT and it was 4.8volts or close to it. I then reset the ecu (un hooked battery for hour or so) Restarted and car ran great for serveral months. Well the car is idling a little goofy again and guess what keep getting the P0122 code. So I double checked the voltage at idle and WOT on the TPS and it is Perfect. (by the way, I also cleaned all the plugs with Electrical contact cleaner)
