You ALWAYS shift at 8k? That may be your first issue...

You need to explain the problem a little better. When does it bog out? All the time now, just that once?

It would just be ridiculous if you shifted at 8k all the time. Are you blowing smoke?

ok when ever i step on the car. let say i step on it on the highway, then when i get off at my exit i stop, thats when i feel it bogging out. and u see the rpms drop and pick back up. then when u start going it bogs untill it reaches 3k rpms. theres no smoke whats so ever.

and yes shifting at 8k rpms all the time would be extremely crazy lol

sounds like when the car is getting pushed / warm. Check o2 sensors. I had a very similar problem, car would bog down once it got warmed up, though cold would run perfect. Faulty o2 sensor.

Anyways, CEL code is Check Engine Light, yes.

right, but when you step on it, RPM's go up, parts move faster, more heat is generated. Though your temp gauge will not reflect it because your fan comes on, your exhaust may see the temperature increase.

Bad o2 sensor, or sometimes it's a fouled spark plug. Could be other things but these are common issues.
