Power locks

Hey guys, I have a 2000 Honda Civic 4 door and I'm having issues with my power locks. The switch in the driver door doesn't work but sometimes 15% of the time my remote locks/unlocks like it supposed to. Like today for example, even tho I know they don't work I press the buttons hoping it'll work and today it happened to work I exited and all locking and unlocking the doors making the horn go off and all that. 3 hours later went to park my car and nothing was working anymore.
Does anyone of you had a problem like this and know what's causing it? Please I want my power locks to work all the time

Could be the switch but most likely it's the wiring harness to the door, plug c556 and c557 have wires pulling out of the sockets or broken/frayed wires

Have you actually inspected the plug or the switch by removing it from the door panel?
