I just replaced both front rotors and pads and along the process I noticed few things.
1. The slider pins, one had a rubber insert at the tip but the other didn't. Is that normal? Also does it matter which one is installed on top or bottom caliper bracket? I had forgot if it was on the top or bottom and installed it on the top.
I also noticed the other side was missing the rubber insert on the pin with the groove for one. Will this affect anything?
And I'm wondering what those are for anyway?
2. The brake pad wear indicators, are they installed up or down? I installed them with the wear indicator down. If that's wrong will it affect anything?
