Reg: transmission of 2000 civic

I have bought a 2000 civic automatic transmission and recetly the car is changing the gear (from 2 to 3 ) at 3,000+ rpm. It takes much time and revs a lot for the change. The shift from 1st to 2nd gear occurs at some 2700 rpm and I feel a jerk whilt this shift occurs.

Previously (some 3,000 miles ago when I bought the car), the gear changed at around 2000+ rpm and it was smooth.

The previous owner told that the transmission was flushed and filled with new fluid (I dont know the fluid used). Presently, the car has some 200k miles on it. I have checked the transmission fluid, its not black its slightly red in colour.

Kindly suggest the possible solution. I am a student and I cannot afford expensive new transmission if I need to get one (I hope its not the only solution available)

Do 3 drain-refill cycles using a Honda-recommended ATF, and then go from there. Between each cycle, go on a short drive using all the gears.
