Repairing wheels??

like the title states, does anyone know how to repair curb rash on a set of si wheels.
any info is appreciated, or can point me in the right direction

Usually there are companies in metro areas that have that service. I would speak with a tech or owner of some local tire shops, or google "wheel repair" and your zip code or large city.

I certainly wouldn't recommend he do the repair himself. Not as cheaply as a wheel repair place can do it and do a better job.

I've got lots of experience in metal work making armor for a hobby of mine and I'm not sure I'd trust myself to fix a wheel even with the myriad of tools I've got in my shop.

Repairing wheels isn't something I consider a "DIY."

Maybe it's just me.

I repaired my own rims and got rid of all the rash done from the previous owner. I did a wet rough (not really rough though) sand to soft. takes alot of time to do it right. I'd say it's safe if you know how to do it.
