I am going to remove my resonator for the time being till I get the money to get another one. I have a 96 civic ex coupe and I need to know what size of straight pipe I would need to replace the resonator with a straight pipe for the time being. All my exhaust is stock except for a magnaflow muffler. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks for any help. God bless

why would you remove a resonator? do you mean your catalytic converter? and if its stock exhaust it should be somewhere around 1 3/4" piping

Get under the car and measure the piping? I believe stock EX piping is 1 7/8"

Are you going to be the one welding it back up? I did quick check on Google think 1 3/4 is going to be it but I'm unsure. You best bet is going to be to measure it if it's you doing the welding. However, I think if you went with the 1 3/4 you could weld it up if their was a small gap difference
