Seat belt beeping

Hello everyone,

I have a 90 civic dx. I'm trying to figure out how to turn off the beeping whenever the car thinks someone is on my passenger seat without the seat belt. Even after the passenger buckles the seat belt it keeps beeping or when the passenger leaves the vehicle it'll continue beeping. The only way to turn it off is when the car is completly off. Basically it's super annoying and I'm just trying to turn it off. I looked at the fuse box under the steering wheel but I didn't find one that would stop the beeping. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

90 Civic DX doesnt have a passenger detection - something else perhaps? thought only the Accords and Integras of that era had auto seat belts?

Check for a connection under the seat, if its there, disconnect it.

Does your rear view mirror have the seatbelt indicator spots on it by the headliner? If so drop it down and unplug the connector there.
