If you can't figure out what gear you should be in with an automatic do you think a stick shift is gonna be a good idea, lol, jk
that is very true, but won't they learn what gear is what in a automatic after driving stick for awhile?

I only use D3 in stop and go traffic. Any other time I stay in D4.

Omg...

Put it in d4 all the time. It's an automatic transmission, that means it shifts automatically
If you put it d3 it still shifts normally it just won't go into 4th gear, thats all. It doesn't shift any quicker or downshift or anything. Just leave it in d4 and go.
