my name is ted, new to your site, I owned a 08 civic, Im trying to locate my shock sensor so i can adjust my sensitivity, coz the alarm will trigger if a vehicle pass by with a loud noise, so im asking for any tips.

It’s a trial and error approach when you face such an issue. When you mount the shock sensor on a hard surface such as under the dashboard or with the shift, something that is directly connected to the body of the car, the alarm will go off even if a loud car passes by. You can simply insert the shock sensor under one of your seats, in the lining of your luggage compartment or mount it with a small rubber that can absorb certain small irrelevant shocks.
