So this just happened: snapped rear suspension

The girlfriend was driving, hear a knocking all of a sudden we thought it was the exhaust knocking against bumper as it did this when we brought it (replaced with muffler delete) never did it since, I told her to pull over them BAMMMM, we're scraping on the floor :/ it straight up snapped.

So you snapped a rusty rear control arm. It seems like you have a stock-like strut yet its slammed, which makes me think the springs were cut or lowering springs were used onnon-lowering struts, which couldve been the contributing factor to the damage.

Yeah, out of nowhere and the car is actually stock height everything is original. Guessing that rust has ate its way through. Was actually getting some coilovers for Xmas this year but looks like it might be new control arms and a beaks bar

Looks lower also because it has the ek9 side and bumper trim on it

That's some serious rust, I'd say swap out the entire trailing arms.
