I have an 05 civic lx manual trans the tach was stuck on 8k when u drive it wiggles a little sometimes if you rev it goes backwards. I tried the diagnostic that needle never goes to zero. I took the cluster out tried resetting the needle manually it does the same thing just at a lower reading and eventually goes back to 8 k and stays there. Turning the needle by hand it feels like there is no resistance on it. So is there a way to rebuild/fix the tachometer portion or just get a new cluster?
