Tach not working

Hey guys it's been awhile but I'm working on it again. Trying to fix the tach. I found this online , but I can't find the spare blue wire they speak of, any ideas guys?

99-00 Civics get the tach signal from the ECU not the distributor.

For example, remove the conversion harness and plug in the stock OBD2 ECU and the tach should work again.

Sorry man I'm still a little new to this honda stuff, what's the conversion harness ?

Well I look stupid now [emoji23][emoji23] starting to think it's the cluster I tested it and nothing happeneds only the gas gauge works lol

Why are you running a stock D16Y8 on Neptune?

I'm not , I copied that from another fourm. I just posted to show the instructions . Mines a all stock y8

You swapped a D16Y8 into a 68 Camaro?

No I'm completely restoring a 68 camaro has a 396 bbc. This is a 99 civic .
