Ok so I'm driving and even while just id eking the temp gauge will shoot up, the radiator holds good pressure so it's not leaking. But it shoots way up, especially while I'm driving, like all the way past red zone. And when it shoots up me hear will go cold but when it goes back down the heat comes back.
