Throttle adjust, '12 Civic

When driving up a slight incline, the vehicle will slow down; there's a lot of play in the pedal and will not accellerate again until the passing gear is activated. Any adjustment?

Its dbw fellas. Im sure there will be a hondata reflash to correct/enchance the throttle response if there isn't one already
