transmission/ input shaft?

Hey ive been hearing an awful noise coming from the transmission area for a while... i was thinking it was the release bearing on the clutch but ive replaced that and the noise still persist... im almost positive its the imput shaft and i was just curious how difficult it would be to replace myself or if i should just replace the transmission and if so does anyone know companies that sells transmissions... i have a B16A2 with the SC4 tranny... maybe upgrade to an LSD but i honestly dont know much about transmissions..

Replacing the input shaft bearing is uber easy. There are DIYs out there floating the net on how to do. Ive done them often enough to where I can do it blind folded.

Tip. If you are going to do it yourself and this is the first time doing it. I would recommend you take pictures of each step you do so that you can back track what you did cause am almost positive that you'll forget a step.

Another tip : Interlock bolt is the first come out and the last thing to be put in.
