valve clearance with D15B7 and aftermarket cam

I was wondering if there is any valve train issues using a aftermarket cam such as a delta regrind or something that is like a 264 - 270 . I think Delta has specs for the 270 on their page.

I'm concerned due to the fact I would want to get a thinner head gasket and bump the compression up a bit.

would the D16Y8 gasket work on this or what would be a good headgasket that is thinner then factory for the D15B7.

i really wouldnt go with a regrind. bad juju's. they have a bad tendancy to splinter and really cause some damage.

hmm, So what options do I have for aftermarket cams for the D15B7. I really don't want to do a mini-me swap. What about this A6 cam stuff? How noticable is the difference from the stock B7 cam?

Is there a non-vtec 1.6 head that will bolt onto the B8?
