Want to change my 2000 Civic HX's manual tranny fluid. Few Q's

I've changed the manual tranny fluid in my previous '96 Integra GSR. Was pretty easy to drain & fill (2 bolts). I used RedLine MTL.
*How is it for our Civics?
*Same/similar procedure as my GSR?
*What oil/fluid is recommended for the Civic 5 speed?
*Anything better than the OEM transmission fluid?

Either Amsoil or the new "green label" Honda MTF, both are very comparable. Redline and Royal Purple are not as great as some people make them out to be.

Just use Honda MTF. It's not that expensive. You don't even need 3 bottles.

Just be sure the car is jacked up level when you do it.

ok i see the drain plug bolt (ratchet head). can anyone point out which is the filler bolt? looks like there can be 2 possibilities. also is the new honda mtf stuff synthetic?
