I'm having a problem of water getting inside the door panel of my 6th gen coupe. I removed the weatherstrip to inspect and they look like they are doing a decent job stopping water except for at the ends of the strip. There is a small gap on both sides and I believe this is where the water is getting inside.
I am going to be putting some new speakers in the door panels and I don't want them to get water on them. I also don't want rust to start happening to bottom of doors as well.
Is there a way to stop water coming in 100%. I'm sure this is probably as Home Dept / Lowe's fix. I sounds like I will need some type of sealent.
Let me know if anyone else has had this problem. It is not a lot of water, but it is enough for me to attempt to fix it.
I'll try to post pics later... Thanks
