I have a water temp gauge and was wondering where on a 96 ex is a good spot to put the sensor on?

Get a Coolant hose adaptor and run the sensor from there. Thats the easiest way.

Straight from autometer. I am sure there are others that make them as well. Of course you could get a cheaper adapter and tap the fitting in yourself. This one is already done for those that don't have the tools to tap. This one is for electric gauges only though.
