my civics been lowered on stock shocks for about 3-4 months now and its been good..
but the only problem is that when i turn sharply like a U TURN, it hits pretty good

im guessing new shocks would eliminate any hits??

If course it's going to hit.. it's lowered lol. Things are closer together. You also have stock shocks, which aren't meant to be used for lowered applications.

You just pretty much answered your own question. It's not "hitting" anything. Your tire is rubbing on your fender lining when you lock your wheel. My car does it too when I'm at full lock.

How much are you lowered? What size tires/wheels/offset do you have?

What he said. Plus stock shocks will blow on lowering springs and then ur front will scrape more and yu might scrape headers and exhaust on speedbumps and s**t. Also, camber kits are important if yu get real low

get slimmer tires or smaller wheels or flare the hell out of your fender

Smaller runs would help I'd recommend 15s or 16s with a 50 series tire and a reasonable off set.

im on 17 rims rite now, will smaller rims help?
well think about it, lol.

A big man can't fit into tight spaces (easily).. whereas a tiny person can. Well.. wheels work the same way, depending on how much you're lowered, the size of your tires, etc.

Get smaller wheels.

195/55 or 205/50 for 15"
205/45 for 16"
