What size stereo & speakers in a 1993 Civic esi?

Hello, Im fitting a stereo & speakers in my mums car as a suprise for her birthday.
3 questions...
Is the head unit standard size?
What size are the speakers in the front doors, are they 6.5?
What mounting depth do I have for the speakers? I dont want to get ones that dont fit.

Does anyone have an answer to this? I bought 6.5 but they are slightly too big. Im wondering if I should have bought the 6.25.

6.5 should fit, that's what i put in my car. but 6.25 will also work. i'm not sure on the depth, i just know that i tried putting in a 3way and it was too big. stick to 2way's up front unless you want to spend alot more just to get a thinner 3way(not worth it) and put 4 way in the rears. if it's a hatch you can fit 4way 6.5 and people have told me that for coupes it's a 6x9 but i'm not sure that's just what i read on here.
