which tranny

right now i have a cx tranny and it is slow as balls and has 400k on it. i am wanting to buy a different one. i dont car about gas milage as long as i get at least 30mpg im good. which tranny should i go with. i have a 93 civic.

400k miles on the motor? Holy crap.....

An EX transmission has shorter gears. But it's nothing to make you jump out of your boots. You're still going to have a really slow Honda.

lol no the motor doesnt have 400k the old motor did the one in it now only has 130k. I lept the old tranny for gas purposes but i want somthing a little faster and can climb hills without downshifting to 3rd everytime.

A new transmission won't solve that.

Get a swap or don't buy a Honda next time if you want power .
