February 21st - New Pic

Finally got some new pics of how my car looks now from the outside with the license plate relocated. I've come to like it a little bit more. Tow hook still isn't on. I gotta hammer the factory tow hook back straight and it's been way too cold to do so.

I have the bumper plugs and plates to lock them in place. Only problem is, the f*** tards who did body work on my car when I got into an accident drilled new holes in the bumper next to the factory holes so I'll have holes anyways.

February 3rd Update!

Push start officially works . Spent 2 hours getting it wired up and installed properly. A lot of the time was spent trying to work in such a small space on my back .

February 1st Update!
I just installed the Benen 3-Point bar and all I can say is WOW. I always thought a front strut bar wouldn't do anything... Today, I was proved wrong. I mean this is a 3-point as opposed to a 2-point and I was kind of nervous how much it would help. On the drive, I did 35mph on a road and I started swerving the car really hard back and forth and I noticed a lot less chassis twisting from the front. The steering responded better and the car would actually turn instead of sort of have that lag, chassis twist, then turn.

I recommend this bar, or any 3-point for that matter, to any and everyone that is trying to improve handling. I'm glad I ended up keeping this and not selling it .

Most of the "regulars" on here know me and how long my car stayed stock .

Got my car in May of 04. Don't have any pictures but back in the good ole ricer days, I had a mugen grill and Walmart foggies for the longest time .

Also ordered a polished Benen rear tow hook . UPS has it now and it should be here this week. Bent my golden eagle one. Yes BENT. Long story short: I tried doing a reverse 180 in a parking lot full of packed snow that was about a foot high. I stopped dead in my tracks after going about a car length into the snow. My buddy pulled me out with his truck but he pulled me out sideways so he wouldn't drag me into the snow and f*** up my front lip and bumper. In doing so, the tow hook bent sideways .

Then paypal'd someone for a new part tonight . I've been wanting it for as long as I wanted a push-start button which....is almost....as long as I've had my car really. Only 1 person knows and I know (or hope ) that he doesn't say a word . It's OEM, black, and oh oh oh so sexy .

I know there's not much to see here... But like I said, my car was stock for FOREVER. A lot of people kept giving me crap, telling me to mod my car already . So here's a thread for ya'll who haven't kept up.

I got rid of the sway bar...close to a month probably by now. Sold it to Jbuck2kcivic.

I'm f**king PSYCHED for my latest mod though. I'm gonna sleep in my car to appreciate it's beauty.

edit - How could I forget? I also ordered a rust-free 99-00 OEM Si axle back . Compliments of MugenKid18. Should add a nice touch to the back of the car.

You know I've been up for it for a while now. But my engines getting worse meng . I could definitely use a new headgasket and oil pan gasket. Maybe I'll bring some beer and some parts with me and we could work on my car .

Oh there's moar in store . I'm done buying for a while though. With the new part tonight, axle back, push-start stuff, and rear tow hook, I've already spent WAY more than I wanted to. I got some stuff I'm trying to sell and there's already another sexy part I'm looking into .

I paid for it tonight and he said he'll try to get it shipped out monday if he can. So hopefully I (and you guys) will see it by the end of next week.
