will an automatic pr4 work for a 5 speed stardard civic

ok so i bought an ecu of ebay an obd1 pr4 will it work on my 2000si civic with a 5-speed
this ecu is for an automatic though the reason i need it is so i can put my hondata on it because my p28 had no solider in one of the hole i needed to use
