window off track plastic clip thingy?

when i bought this car, the driverside window was held up with wire, i took the door panel off and re attached the window to the crank assembly but now window won't go up straight, it goes too high in the back, and too low in the front, i've searched and searched for where this little plastic clipip thingy fits in to all this (two pieces of black plastic each with a hole, one piece has four holes down the side) and from what i can tell it will help the problem once installed but i have no ****ing idea where it goes! anyone have experience with these.

p.s. how hard is it to replace the window channel (rubber that seals window around the top and back edge) ? my car has no window channel rubber left
