My 02 RSX-S currently gets anywhere from 28-32 mpg

Here are my rough averages in my '97 Civic HX with its mostly stock D16Y5 engine...
37mpg = AC-off typical city driving
35mpg = AC-on typical city driving
42mpg = AC-off highway at around 60-75mph
35mpg = AC-on highway at around 60-75mph
30mpg = AC on highway at 80+mph
26mpg = AC-on when I moved from FL to KY with the trunk and back seats loaded up
22mpg = No AC belt when I moved from KY to FL while hauling a half-full 5x8 uHaul trailer, and catching Atlanta traffic.
I've never really tried hyper-miling or eco-driving much more than when I may be running close to empty.

So i just calculated it and i get about 21MPG or 11L/100Km bone stock d16y7
That's just awful for a Civic. You need to seriously address that... in its own thread of course.

Nope, being that he's asking about others MPG and not how to improve it.

My 2000 automatic beater, d16y7 can get 45mpg on hwy. I never check the city driving mileage because there are too many undetermined variables.

311 miles this tank (in 2 days)

311/8.787 = 35.4 MPG this time

So a small loss without a muffler. Would also probably help if I shifted around 2500-3000 RPM's instead of anywhere between 4000 & 5000 RPM's.

25-26mpg right now in summer with ac on all the time. 30mpg without ac. Lost 1-2mpg with my roof bike rack, lose another 2 with bikes on the rack. Stock motor Automatic 97 civic lx, very lowered.

Just to double check its the ignition coil, some times the car will drop to around 600 then back to 1k when i come to a stop
That sounds to me more like an IACV (Idle-Air Control Valve) issue, but it wouldn't hurt to change the ignition coil inside the distributor along with the cap & rotor if you're unsure of when they were last replaced.

I get around 37mpg in my 99 coup it's the d16y7 non VTEC 5speed with no a/c but I got a question when I'm going high way speeds (65-75) I'm revving 3grand and up is that normal?
