Skunk2 Pro-Series Intake Manifold improves airflow which increases horsepower by as much as 8% over stock intake manifolds on stock engines. There is even a larger increase on modified or forced-induction engines. Skunk2 Intake Manifold significantly increases horsepower between 3000-8800 rpm which is the broadest powerband increase in the industry. Their new Pro-Series design features a 22% increase in power over their previous intake manifold design. They are engineered with a larger plenum and tapered runners which increase and accelerate airflow. They are also designed to increase the effects of wave scavenging at the engine’s optimum operating RPM range which provides a broad overall increase in usable power. Each runner on the Skunk2 intake manifold entry is also modified to balance airflow between the cylinders. Oversized throttle bodies can be used as a result of the modified IAC opening on the flange. Just like OEM intake manifolds, Skunk2 intake manifolds are shell molded and CNC machined to achieve superior strength, a high-quality finish, and a precise fit. Each Skunk2 intake manifold is vacuum tested to ensure great quality and a leakfree operation. The Skunk2 Intake Manifold uses all stock sensors and auxiliaries for an easy bolt-on installation that delivers maximum power.
