n/a b16a1 build

Hey guys, iam making this thread cause I am tired of looking through forums to see how I can get the most HP from my b16 and only seeing "get a b18" or get cams.. iam looking for a shopping list, dyno charts, how to's .. iam predetermined to go with itb's, and keep my b16

This is a daily driver, but I go to the mountains every weekend, like some initial d s**t =) and I auto cross

itb's are going to be expensive! start out with I/H/E, either stage 1 or 2 cams, upgrade the valves, valve spring and retainers, upgraded fuel system (slightly larger injectors and fuel pump), high compression pistons and a good tune. also for inproved throttle response a lighter flywheel, you could also upgrade to a stage 1 or 2 clutch

That's what iam lookin for! Question, do I have to pull the motor to do pistons? And who is in your opinion the best brand for cams? And thanks for actually giving me an answer

I don't think you have to but it might make it slightly easier but the difficulty of pulling the engine out offsets that lol. I've heard really good things about skunk2 cams also crower has some good cams :what: just shop around and read reviews

just go LSV and use the b16 pistons and b16 trans

youll have more torque and more fun for less money, not to mention the better drivability with stock b16 cams

but going all motor, your friends are displacement and compression..

Hey he asked for an all motor build shopping list... and all motor B's are not cheap.. all of this coupled with ITB's as the OP wanted.
