Interior Bulb Size Info

This is just some very general information regarding interior bulbs that I would like to condense all into 1 area for 4th-8th generation Civic's. Rather than having to search generation to generation or year to year, it's all here.

Feel free to correct me if any information is wrong!

4th Generation:
Dome Light Bulb Size: DE3175 (42mm)
Step/Courtesy Light Bulb Size: DE3021 (31mm)
Trunk/Cargo Area Light Bulb Size: DE3021 (31mm)
Instrument-General Light Bulb Size: 74

5th Generation:
Dome Light Bulb Size: DE3175 (42mm)
Step/Courtesy Light Bulb Size: DE3021 (31mm)
Trunk/Cargo Area Light Bulb Size: DE3021 (31mm)
Instrument-General Light Bulb Size: 74

6th Generation:
Dome Light Bulb Size: DE3022 (31mm) or DE3175 (42mm)
Trunk/Cargo Area Light Bulb Size: DE3021 (42mm)
Instrument-General Light Bulb Size: 74 or 194 Someone verify this if you can!

7th Generation:
Map Light Bulb Size: 168 or DE3175 (42mm)
Dome Light Bulb Size: 578 or DE3175 (42mm)
Trunk/Cargo Area Light Bulb Size: 168

8th Generation:
Map Light Bulb Size: DE3175 (42mm)
Dome Light Bulb Size: DE3175 (42mm)

Edit - after some more reading, they may be 74's. That's the problem with information on the internet... Some sites are wrong.

I'm fairly certain when I got amber bulbs for my climate control (from Honda, Si model), they were the small 74's. I don't know where I got 194 from. I'll have to do more digging and change this.

They are. I know the climate control knobs are 74's. I replaced mine with factory Si amber ones and they're tiny. I can't speak for the cluster though.

Bulb incompatible apparently

I tried installing a 31mm DE3022 LED bulb today and it seemed to be a bigger than my stock incandescent bulb, and it seemed to bend my prongs in my dome light. Is that supposed to happen?

Here's a comparison photo just to be clear:

Top is Stock bulb
Bottom is new DE3022/DE3175 bulb

See the difference? It doesn't fit, and I don't know what to do.... Help please?
Oh yeah, and I have a 2000 Civic LX so a 6th Gen Civic.
