Hand brake Struck up

so i drive a 1996 honda civic and apart form the other problem it had like the 2 passenger doors being struck, my handbrake is now struck up, can somebody plz help me.

Sounds like the cable or pads are seized up.
Take your rear wheels off and take a look, may have to beat on the drums.

I had the same problem with my 96 honda civic dx and I was stranded for hours. Until I was sick of it. You can take plastic cover off. There should be 2 bolts on either side close to the shifter. There might 1 more bolt in the back of the cover you have to open littler compartment(looks like an ashtray) but mine was broken when I bought it. This will expose your parking brake so you can loosen the adjuster nut, that’s the one i’m pointing at. This will release the brake. My car has a manual transmission so the cover might be different. I’ll post pics in the attach files. That always helps me. Good luck
