    Watch out! I'm back on the road!!

    Hey, its been a while! (about a year actually!) Lots of new names on here, but still some old ones I remember... Some may recall about a year ago I was having a B16 swap into my EJ6 (Engine Swap From Hell), and it turns out that the mechanic was a t***** and didn't know s*** about cars...

    Anybody able to help with a possible faulty EGT gauge?

    My exhaust gas temperature gauge seems to have developed a malfunction, the needle does move but it constantly reads around 350 degrees when it has power, even if I only turn the electrics on after not driving it for a week! It never goes up or down while driving. In all the pages I have read on...

    need help on takeing out stock airbox

    Does this help...? It's the nut that was on mine. It was a while back when I did it, but I can remember that there was no room to get a tool in, and then when I got it off I was thinking that there is physically no space to get a socket or something around the nut. I guess you need a...

    need help on takeing out stock airbox

    I lost my temper with it!!!! The nut was facing the firewall and there was no room to get a socket or anything in. Its only (or was in my case) a jubilee clip. Don't help much though does it...

    Thanks for the help Deadhead and Blazed! :) Yeah, I just adjusted the screw :roll: I think its actually more like 1000rpm, car seems so much more happier with a higher idle, it's a lot smoother and there are less rattles inside (I have solid engine mounts!) Pics would have been up...

    Hi all, Some of you may remember my engine swap from hell a while back. I had to take the car back to the place that did the swap, my brother in law convinced me to do so. They have a new mechanic now so I was willing to let him have a go to fix it. Good job I did because had I taken it...

    D16 -> B16, ps pump questions

    Hi all When you do a b16a2 swap in a '96 dx, how do you rig up the power steering pump? Obviously you use a pump and bracket from a b16, but how do you connect the high pressure copper pipe? Reason I'm asking is that the shop that did the install used the pump from my d16, and he...

    greddy bolt on Vs. Vortech S/C ???

    I'm thinking the same thing... i'd prefer the vortech with cooler, especially as they have a SQ (super quiet) compressor for stealth. If going the turbo route, for 250whp you should build the internals, but vortech claim 280whp on stock engine... Don't supercharged engines require building...
