Can the type R be made less hideous?

The non touring Type R that's they plan on bringing out is without the big wing I believe. The front and rear bumper is hinted to be different too. Maybe wait for that. I was either going to wait for that or the new Supra, but I decided to go widebody on the FRS and build that more instead.

Something was missing from the rear end. Installed a center light to connect the tail lights. Now I LOVE the way it is. Wouldn't change it.

    BOV

I have it on my 10th gen. It's a full atmospheric one though. The bypass valve on our cars now is a recirculating one. There are a few BOV's out right now like the Boomba Racing BOV. I have a BOV plate and it works great. Sounds great. For the Boomba racing you'd take off your OEM bypass valve...

Octane Level for 2017 Honda Civic Touring Sedan

The 1.5T motor is tuned for 87 octane. Using 91 octane without the appropriate tune would yield little to no hp

    2slo4u: My 10th gen..

The new Civic's are on a CVT transmission so there are really no gears for the transmission to change through. There are also no paddle shifters. There should be a manual 6 speed 1.5 turbo coming out soon though. Putting the car in S does it's job by making it a little more fun to drive.

    Hoki Random Thread

I'd like to see them installed too because usually painting rubber will just crack the paint when installed. OP: the paint job might look good on the trim because there is very little room for error on such a small piece. The roof is much harder. And..how is your door scratching you? :P

    Replacing core support.

IDK if it matters much but when I look for parts, I make sure they are CAPA certified. Not saying you don't have the skill set, but many times people will just slap parts on without really paying attention to the OEM mounting positions or lining it up good. The parts I used were definitely not...

    Replacing core support.

ebay doesn't have anything to do with the product. I've used ebay parts to fix front ends before and the fitment was great. The picture below is the After photo. I changed the fenders, hood, core support, and headlight.

I'd hold out too. The Si might be worthy. As for internals..I think it may be able to handle a little more power but then again it's only a 1.5 liter and I think I read somewhere the cylinder walls are thin. Not to mention the CVT probably won't be able to handle power over 200.

    2slo4u: My 10th gen..

I know what you guys mean on the looks. I'm still trying to fall in love with it too but I'm definitely going to need to mod it up first before that can happen. IMO the taillights and rear end is too big therefore will be hard to match some wheels to it without some staggered look. The...

    Replacing core support.

I would just add in, make sure your drill is fully charged and if you have replacement batteries and another drill, make sure they are all fully charged as well. Let your drill cool off if you feel it get too hot. The best advice I'd have to give is to make sure the drill bit is new that way...

    2slo4u: My 10th gen..

haha not sure, the OEM ones "do the job" but I like the look of the LED's better. did some debadging and wheel test fitting today. Looks like I'll have to save up for some 19's. The 18's were borrowed from the FRS so I would know how they'd look like on the Civic and see if the 18's were...

Thank you! FRS is still here. Got this car for my wife and for me to save the miles on the FRS haha. Don't think I could let the FRS go unless it's for the FT1 haha

    2slo4u: My 10th gen..

I'll post this here until they make a build thread. Picked up a 2016 EX-T the other day and started to change things out right away. Can't leave a car stock for too long. Future plans for the car is to get a nice lip kit on, some wheels, coilovers, maybe new charge piping and a bov or bpv. I...
